Now let me start off with I think there is more than enough animals  in the  game (especially with the cougar coming)and they are all have a purpose that they fulfill brilliantly. But that being said what animal would you like to see roaming Great Bear? I’d love to see more types of animals we already have 3 types of wolf. For example it would be cool to see a brown bear that’s a lot tougher than a black bear but gives more meat. Maybe that is a bad example but I think you know what I mean 😁

They would definitely shred your ankles😆

And your legs too😁.  It'd make the bear seem tame by comparison

Foxes.

Both predator and prey. Cunning. Incredibly difficult to hunt.

Since they got rid of the logo, it would be a nice shout out to their origins.
After all, tradition is an anchor for the soul of a society…

@Leeanda Therein lies the balance 🥲 But perhaps, they could be tempered more like the non predatory animals in Great Bear.

Fair point. That could work..

I have seen bunnies out during an aurora though , usually hanging around corpses so maybe more like deer😁

Foxes are a very nice shout, honestly.

— Mountain goats! They could only be interacted with while “goating” around. Potentially lethal headbutts, tossing you off the cliff.

— Mice! Raid your dry goods if they’re not stored properly. Mice bring fleas and fleas bring Plague (new proposed Affliction). Therefore, your stockpile of dry goods had BETTER have a stockpile of antibiotics, too. 😇

— Non-Interactable birds like Cardinals, Cedar Waxwing, Seagulls. We hear their songs. It would be lovely to see them flit about in Nature.

— LOONS. Because Canada. 🦆

— Beaver. Because Beaver pelts built the Canadian economy and it always felt weird to have so much emphasis on Wolves and no mention of Beaver.

— Walrus. It would be super cool to see a water mammal represented in this game. A walrus or elephant seal would be absolutely terrifying. 😳

Honestly the current roster of animals we have is enough. i don't know what else i would want to be added

Not long to wait for that one...  You might wish it wasn't though after a few maulings😊

I would also like aesthetic animals that you can’t really interact with but are there to look nice kind of like crows are now

I keep thinking of the owls we hear but something tells me it might feel a bit too creepy lol..

I don't shy away from a challenge. The cougar headwrap is worth the risk of getting mauled

It'll certainly be interesting seeing how it works .   It does look a great headpiece

It's not just great, it's the ultimate headpiece.

In comparison to the previous best item (aviator cap) it's:

  • It's 3c/3c, VS 2c/2c, so way warmer
  • It's 10% more waterproof
  • It's got 1% more protection
  • It decays at half the speed, way more durable
  • It can be broken down and re-crafted, just like the moose coat, so you don't even need to hunt more cougars for upkeep
  • It looks cooler (even though something weird is going on with its outlines).

The only downside is that it's heavier, but it's just so good in all other aspects
