Stuck in car

Hello,

I am stuck in my car after sleeping in it, any idea what I can do?

I already tried to restart game but same result. Does it mean my savegame is lost?

I'm sorry you're having this problem..  as you've saved it by sleeping then I  don't think there is anything you can do..

Have you filed a report with support?   

You could start a new game ,but you could keep that save too and come back to it later after it's been fixed..

even if I did file a report, it would too long to fix it... maybe I should give up this game...

The more info htl get the better it helps them fix them..  I know it's a bit disheartening but please don't give up..

Presuming you meant tld altogether?   Bugs like that are rare

Sorry I'm totally useless with tech so I'm not sure what that even is..

If you send a report to htl I'm sure they'll be able to help..  if you can't give them file info I'm sure whatever you can give would help..

I can ask @Player_Support to have a look at this thread,see if they can offer advice too

Also has been pointed out, hacking is not allowed , even as a joke..

May I suggest you send a report to support giving them at least the image you posted above.

This is a dubious solution, but maybe it will be possible to get out of the texture using mods, more specifically a mod to unlock the console and then turn on flight mode? What do you think?

Not sure what you mean about dubious.. I know people use the mods for that kind of thing.. I think if the op had mods though they would've tried it..

I can't see a problem using mods if you have them.. htl are more than aware they're around..

However if it's not just an issue for them then it's best to give htl the info so they can fix it for everyone.

By doubtful, I meant that it might not work if the problem is not in the texture getting stuck, but in something completely different (of course, this is very unlikely) and the mods will break the game even more. I also meant that there might be a better way, without mods interfering with the game engine and save files. And this will not solve the problem on a global level, but will only help save the game progress.

Maybe the author of the post might have difficulties installing the modlader and the mods themselves.

But I wanted to wish @Player luck in solving his problem, and, if necessary, we can explain how to install mods.

Oh I see.. not that I know anything about that sort of stuff,techwise,but you have a good point .. it could indeed make it worse.

Also true,they do sound rather complicated to install.. I hope if they need any help they'll ask 😊

Mods are not always the answer- we don't know what platform the OP is playing on. If they are on a PC platform, they may be able to use mods. If they are on on XBox, Switch, or PS 4/5- they have no access to mods.

I presumed pc looking at that pic they posted..  Xbox or ps don't have those details in yellow ..   well definitely not Xbox anyway sadly..

If @Player is on PC we can help them out pretty quickly, no problem. Unfortunately we haven't seen that official report yet, though!

Can somebody please go to this car and sleep there to see if I AM the Problem ofc make a backup?

pls don’t reply on this post I won’t respond/ login, my husband said I should move on.

Someone removed my savegame from forum post, now my backup/game is gone. Thank you for nothing!

I take full responsibility for the missing file... I must've removed it along with the hacking comment...   My sincere apologies..  htl are in no way to blame for that

I know that you've asked us not to reply to this, but anyone else who reads this should know: 

From time to time players can become stuck in terrain, so what we do is request your Save File. We take that file, and load it up and bump you out of wherever you're stuck. Then, we'll save that new file and send it back to you to continue playing. We then investigate the area and make sure a fix is included in our next update. 

If you decide to give us another chance to fix this, please reply back to Ticket 109523.

There is a somewhat simple way to fix this without hinterland support:

Install the dev console mod using melon loader
Open console, type in "fly", move your character out of the stuck spot.

You can then uninstall the mod, if having cheats available to you is too tempting and ruins your experience.
