In my survival save the day night/cycle is out of sync with the “clock” and it feels like it is gradually drifting worse. Anyone else experiencing this?

The sun/moon clock works the same way it always has since it was added to the game. It's meant to show what time it is, not how much sun or moon there is. The screenshot shows the sun barely over the horizon, so around 6 or 7 am. Which in more southern regions of the world would have the actual sun visible in the sky. But in northern Canada, where in Winter there are nights that last for a long time, while the sun is only visible for  a few hours- it would be very low, barely peeking up above the horizon, which is obscured by the terrain in the screenshot, but you can see the lightening of the clouds from the early sun's light in the center of the image. The spinner shows 12 hours (am) and 12 hours (pm), and isn't adjusted with passage of seasons. It really only approximates what time you would see on an actual clock (what hour is it?), and we get about 13 or 14 hours of light and 10 or 11 hours of darkness in the game (which again- doesn't change at all like it does in the real world).

It's a game mechanic to let players know approximately what hour it is, not to show where the sun or moon would be positioned in the sky.

Yes, the clock is about one hour fast. But it's always been that way, hasn't it?

I did not notice this when I started playing, years ago. Was really only wondering if there was summat the matter with my save.
