Banditlord01 Posted November 12 Posted November 12 (edited) Okay, so you know how some houses have water tanks why not make it where some of the houses also have a backup generator outside connecting to the place it makes it So finding gasoline is actually a lot more sort out. also a really good thing is you can make it where some of the powerlines can be climbable with nails in them and if you have enough materials to repair the powerline making it all the way to the dam which gives you the area you connect it to powered and you can make a queer birds sometimes go on those powerlines causing them to be damaged and making it to a randomly one could break making you have to actually go out and explore to try and find which ones broken Edited November 12 by Banditlord01 More to add 1
WanderingVoyager Posted November 12 Posted November 12 I think one of the main parts of the long dark is not having power.. at least reliable readily available power. Even if you could theoretically repair the cables and somehow get power back to your main base, the aurora is the one that messes with the power causing it to shut off. It's not the cables being damaged. For example you have the flashlight which has batteries already in it but doesn't work unless there is an aurora. 1
