Last Horizon Tale on New Save - SPOILERS

Has anyone completed *just* Last Horizon on a new save and successfully gotten the feats?

I completed Signal Void and Buried Echoes on my main save, got those badges.

I thought it'd be fun to do Last Horizon on a brand new save, making use of only the gear I find in the far territories. I got the radio in Forsaken Airfield and repaired the transmitter. I then got the starting objectives for all 3 tales. So far so good.. BUT, then I went out to where the Omega Bunker should be and it's totally missing (no snow covered hatch). The radio isn't picking up signals for it either.

I'm concerned because I know there's some objectives in Last Horizon inside the Omega Bunker. However, I also know that if you completed Signal Void & Buried Echoes on any save, you should be able to still do Last Horizon without redoing the others.

Does anyone know what's up? I've been googling around and get vibes that maybe something in Last Horizon will make it spawn but not 100%

Last Horizon starts in Sundered Pass and ends in the Omega bunker.  Meaning you will likely have to go out there and finish all the remaining tasks (for LH not the others mind you) before you can find it and get in.

 

Additional:  Before you go asking "Shouldn't I be able to find it and get in because I finished SV?"  Technically you haven't done that in this save, so no.

Yes, here is the answer:

"Yes, to start TALES you need to first pick up the Handheld Shortwave (in Forsaken Airfield) and I think repair the FA transmitter. e.g. I've completed all 3 tales (on one save) and then started a new save and bee-lined to Final Horizon (TALE 3) without first doing TALE 1 or 2. If you've unlocked access to Final Horizon you should be able to start on Final Horizon with a new save, if not, double check you've actually completed those TALES (gotten the badges (and feats if you've finished Final Horizon)). If you've met those requirements and 'still' can't progress in Final Horizon that's probably a bug which you can help fix by reporting it at https://hinterlandgames.zendesk.com/

If you're looking to beeline to Final Horizon (especially in early/mid game gear), I'd highly recommend using the Far Range cavern system, it really helps a lot traveling around safely (and warmly), especially when trying to enter FA and SP. It takes a bit of time to traverse the cave, and I'd recommend using Spray Paint,  Campfires, or sticks to 'mark off' dead ends and roundabouts.

If you haven't done Final Horizon before, I'd warn you (without spoilers) that IMO it can be quite challenging, and I'd consider it the hardest of the three TALES by quite a lot.
