Cheated death backpack and fire not spawning

I'm not sure if it's because I fell where I did or not ...the triple rope climb in ash canyon...(I hate how close you have to get to the edge on the second rope😁),  but i chose near location but left ash anyway before going back in and there was no marker on the map...  I did actually run around half of ash canyon to see if I could find the fire but nothing..

 

Also I should mention that the mementos where still in the map but I couldn't open the box at anglers den , do I have to go and get the key again?

Thank you ,but I think it's bugged so there's not much to be done...

It is a bit of a tough map in some ways...
