Cooking Oil from Bear Fat and Salt from Saltwater

Can we please get the ability to manufacture salt from saltwater and cooking oil from bear fat? At the moment I just hoard these resources and rarely ever use them because they're non-renewable. I would love if there's a way to obtain them. Maybe also an option to use acorn grounds instead of flour on all recipes? I would love for cooking to be a longer term sustainable practice for my survivor.

Cooking oil from Cat Tail Heads seems more logical, tbh. We need something to do with all of that tinder, anyway.
 

A simple stone press applied to Cat Tail Seeds would make for an improvised oil, yeah?
