Kribbles Posted September 15 Posted September 15 Very sorry if this already exists somewhere on this forum but I was thinking of "if" Hinterland was to add a specific movement and look mechanics which would greatly enhance the general long dark experience. There are other games (which I will not mention) that utilize a free look button when pressed and held which allows you to freely look around whilst auto walking in a straight line. I reckon it would add so much more immersion to this already gorgeous game being able to walk from point A to point B whilst freely looking around you and enjoying the scenery just like in real life you can rotate your head and walk in a straight line. Another cool mechanic I would love to see (again sorry if this has already been mentioned) is maybe the use of Binoculars so we can stand on top of a mountain and see a bit further or at least having the ability to use your hands as a makeshift bino so you can focus slightly more on distant objects/spaces. What do you guys/girls reckon? 4
Leeanda Posted September 15 Posted September 15 Binoculars would be great, especially for those with sight issues ,and some of us older folk.... 1 1

I agree, that would be useful, but I think first Hinterland would have to make some dropped (and other) items visible from more than 50 feet away (50 feet is just a guess, but some items don't appear until I'm pretty close to them). 1

I know what you mean, it makes beach for smaller things nearly impossible for me, and trying to find arrows 1
