When is something going to be said about  all the problems relating to the switch update that was released on August  1st?  @Raphael van Lierop

I cannot play the DLC as the game is essentially broken. I cannot travel through the maps freely without crashing,  I am stuck in one region.

I know there are many switch players eager to hear what the devs are doing about this. We spent money on the long awaited DLC , only for it to be more broken than any other previously released update. We do want to know if there is a fix in progress.

Yes, to  the two moderators who respond to every post, I have made a few bug reports  that have not been replied to. And yes, you have already offered to flag player support, so, no thank you for the post reply is necessary. 🙂

PS . This post is not meant to come off as rude or combative, so, no need to scold or ban me, I’ve heard that happens here when you complain too much. I just want to know what has happened to my favourite game that is now unplayable due to something I paid money for.

You seem to have been misled/given some very faulty assumptions by those you seem to have heard things from... complaints are not an issue here.  It's when folks decide to be disrespectful or otherwise violate forums rules and guidelines that we intervene as moderators.

Also ,it's on the known issues page so htl are obviously working on it...I'm sure youll hear  something when they have news .

Also yes we are moderators but we are still just regular players with personal opinions and feelings too.   Just saying😊

Same problem on a Switch, can’t play because of softlock. I've been waiting for a fix for over a month now…

Hey!

Short answer: Yes, we're working on some fixes to the Switch version, and will get them out ASAP. We've managed to narrow down some of the issues, but not all of them. They are related to memory.

Longer answer: The complicating factor is the release time for anything on Switch as every update requires a 20-day review by Nintendo before it can go live. So we need to manage this against multiple Switch updates (bug fixes, Revised Cougar, Part Five) along with all our other SKUs, and our internal testing resources. It's a maze. It also makes it impossible to release quick hotfixes, and makes it so that we have to bundle updates together unfortunately. This causes delays.
