Leeanda
Lol.. I've had both of those a few times.. The last time was a regular wolf who decided to kill a bunny while bleeding out... I wasn't sure if he'd died so after 6 arrows in its rear I approached it... Still eating I took the bunny corpse from it and watched it munch for a good five minutes or so... Took it's meat and guts and still it munched on nothing lol... Twolves look very creepy like that..
artmunki
I had an odd one yesterday. The wolf at the trailer in Keeper's Pass South was acting a bit buggy - I watched it chase a bunny on that wee patch across from the trailer, then both just vanished from my sight - couldn't find them anywhere. Minute later as I approached the bridge, the wolf appeared at the other end coming back towards me - I led it back to the trailer, it went for another bunny, and I dropped it immediately, before it even had the chance to growl at me. Headed for the bridge again to deal with the other wolves on the river, and the disappearing bunny came back across the bridge too. After I'd dropped & harvested the other wolves, I came back to the trailer and the dead wolf I'd left there was laid out dead as normal, but growling furiously at me. Threw a stone at it just to see what would happen, and the sound effects switched to scared yelping, like it was running away. Tried to harvest the carcass, but while the reticle came up, there was no hitbox to be found. Spent the night in the trailer, and when I came out the next morning the same wolf was just standing there, right across from the trailer ... for about 2 seconds before it died - again - and everything was back to normal. Weird.

Never had one respawn standing in the morning then immediately die again either. Funny wee pooch.

I know they're unintentional, and HTL would doubtless prefer to eradicate all such bugs, but sometimes they're kinda fun. A small part of the charm of the game.
