Don't see mention of this on the front page here and I feel it needs to be headlined: There are apparently problems with FPS in the new regions. Watching Blades stream right now and his FPS is really really bad in SP. A bunch of people in chat on PC and Console are saying that they also have really bad FPS in SP and in the "Far Territory in general" ...

I just bought the DLC not long ago and I won't lie this is a big deal for me, I want to visit these regions when you ARE DONE creating them.

Also you guys seem VERY proud of timber wolves, and that's cool, but I want to lightly remind you in my softest whisper possible - without the nerds hearing - that if they are causing frame issues ... I think there are possibly ENOUGH of them in some areas. You could probably even do away with a pack or two and no one would really notice. I personally think the oppressive nature of your balancing choices leave a lot to be desired. I've watched all of Bashrobe's videos and Timber Wolves seem like a handful to deal with - even if we have all the toys needed. This kind of challenge should be carefully designed and used with purpose, not just spamming Timber Wolf Spawns because you'd like to artificially pump up difficulty.

Final note about wolves, since I was a "this game is a wolf attack simulator" guy back in 2016 and dropped the game for years because of it - I LIKE how you guys have made a Challenge out of ordinary wolves. There are Do's, Don'ts, and they make sense now, if only because we have people who have decided to communicate HOW to play your game since you didn't. Timber wolves are waaaay different from the look of it, and it would be great if there was a little more design and meaningful mechanics with them - especially if you are going to insist on there being so many of them constantly, everywhere in these regions, all the time. I feel like regarding this End Game Challenge - somewhere someone said "WeLL ThEy'Re WoLvEs" and did away with the careful design in favor of "realism"... That's a big clash, the game has SOLID mechanics these days, and Timbies have "cryptic morale, unless scripted, listen for bark as they attack to know which one to shoot"... That's Lame. My opinion of course.

Let's go fix these maps. I want to play and enjoy what I paid for and I'm not going through all of this to end up in SP with 15 FPS while 85 Timber Wolves attack me.

The Timberwolves have already been amended in sundered pass, just recently I believe...    As for the fps I personally have had no issues with it in sundered whatsoever so maybe it's just random..I'm on Xbox by the way..  so if you have issues please report it to support instead of presuming it's the twolves...  ..  There are custom options if you don't want lots of wolves or anything else,  or just avoid sundered pass until the issue has been sorted..

And please keep comments respectful.

As far as we know, there aren't major FPS issues with any of the regions. Your mileage may vary depending on platform, hardware, and settings of course. If you've bought the DLC, why not try it out and see how the performance is for yourself, with your own hardware and playing using your own settings?

I think you're conflating the Timberwolf comments with the performance comments, and those are unrelated.

@Player_Support can comment further on any region performance issues, but if you encounter actual problems with performance yourself (vs. seeing them on a random stream), feel free to report them to our Support Portal: hinterlandgames.com/support

FWIW:  I have a mid-range PC (Intel 12400, 6650xt, 16G mem).  I don't have any frame rate issues in any regions old or new, even with maximum settings.

I wouldn't base any FPS judgements on streamers because by definition, they're also running streaming software.
