What do you think?  Are the locations depicted in these photos part of Perseverance Mills?  I think these are the only wall photo locations I've seen that don't actually exist in game (apart from some non-descript images that could arguably be from a number of places).

I dont know. Both pictures seems like taken from ze ZoC. The second one is like the mine building shot taken from east side somewhere high. But the excavator I havent seen.

Yeah, or they could just be flavor props hinting at The Past Times and giving some lore and backstory about the people that lived and worked there before the island was abandoned and most people left. Similar to the graffiti in the Cannery area in BI, or the framed pictures of families, a hockey team, and a group of huskies running together. Pictures of when life was "normal" before the financial collapse and the earthquakes started breaking things down, or things started burning down (or getting burned down). Traveling to the island by bush plane would have been common (in Episode 1 of Wintermute Will talks about his Dad flying there frequently), and an excavator at a mining site (especially one as large as the mine in the ZoC) would have been needed to start clearing earth and digging the mine, then likely removed after it was no longer needed.

I'm more of a mind that these are flavor props and little hints at backstory and game lore in the ZoC, rather than scenes from PM.

I don't think the red building is that stepped mine structure in ZoC because it has a smooth slope on one side, and there's no mountain on the other side.  To me it looks like it was built for some kind of industry, or to house something big like an antenna.  I guess it's conceivable that the excavator was there for the early days of the pit mine, then removed, though all other photos in the game seem to show a location that still exists at the time the events of the game are taking place.

Discounting, of course, all the non-descript photos of wildlife and families.
