Switch FPS Drops in Forsaken Airfield

I just recently entered Forsaken Airfield and the region runs really smoothly despite its size until the glimmer fog arrived. I just fixed the transmitter and went looking for the cache and had significant fps drops while outside. Just reported the issue on the support page, anyone else experiencing the same problem?

I don't have the TFTFT DLC on Switch, but I do have it on Steam and XBox. And yes, glimmer fog does cause some lag spiking and fps drop on those platforms for me, though I imagine it is much more profound on the Switch due to its lower max fps (dropping 10-20 fps when you are running at max 30 fps is much more noticeable than when you drop the same amount while on a PC running at 144 fps, for example). So it's not just you- glimmer fog seems to have this effect on all platforms.

I also recently reported a substantial lag spike when inside the Drift Island Cabin (glimmer fog or no glimmer fog - didn't seem to matter).
(by substantial I mean going from a stable 60 FPS down to 30 FPS)

I seem to get bad lagging in certain parts of hrv in my main run, day or night..I thought it was just because it was a long run as I haven't noticed it in short ones.
