Im thinking a early game moose hide satchel, something that gives you a tiny boost in carry capacity in the early game

I can see this as a possibility. Though majority of those items offer very little impact on your inventory. I suspect it would be difficult to calculate values smaller than 0.01kg. It's mostly the items that take up the most space that becomes a problem for players. They have added ways to negate that. But I don't think this will be something they'll consider.
