Missing fish spawn option in settings

Not sure if this is intended but the fish spawn option is not in the custom settings any more..

Does anyone know if this is deliberate or a bug?

It was replaced by the Cougar when it was added to the game (TFTFT DLC) and fish spawn rates were tied into Base Resource Availability. Raph has stated this several times. And yes, the fish spawn rate in Custom Settings games does seem to be bugged right now.

Searching here is kind of difficult (and I was fairly sure he mentioned it here at some point when reports of it being bugged came up), but I did find a post about it on the Steam forums:
