Trouble with crossplay

i've been playing on xbox series s, and i have the expansion on it. now, i installed it on pc and couldn't access to my save because i don't have the expansion on my pc. is this a bug or do i have to buy the expansion again?

If it's play anywhere then yes it's a known issue.. there is a thread on it somewhere already
