K3V038 Posted July 19 Posted July 19 It would be nice if we could see more wildlife interactions. A pack of timberwolves hunting a moose would be a intresting sight, but also a oppurtunity for a good meal with a cost of a fight, or a bear hunting a moose for example, I had a run in where a moose and a bear casualy Walked next to eachother in timberwolf mountain and trapers homestead, i would even like to see a cougar fighting off wolves or bears to secure a fresh kill, with either one coming victorious and dragging the Carcass away, but we would need the cougar to be a normal, wandering animal in order to see that. So the possibilities are endless but it would be a great, immersive addition to the long dark 7 1
purplebluegreen Posted July 20 Posted July 20 (edited) I would really like this to be implemented; the game really lacks the reactions of animals to each other. One day I was followed by a wolf, and then by timberwolves. The wolf continued to chase me with timberwolves, walking side by side with them. Edited July 20 by purplebluegreen

Though judging by the ammount of gray wolf carcasses in bleak inlet, they are being hunted by the bigger timberwolves... 1
Lexilogo Posted July 21 Posted July 21 I agree animals interacting with each other more would be excellent, but I personally don't want any scenario where a Moose can be proxy hunted by players, it doesn't really feel right for the role it serves in the game. IMO a wolf/timberwolf interaction with Moose should end with a dead Timberwolf, and a bear-moose interaction should end with a fleeing Moose. 1

Yeah, I guess it would only make sence, but a whole pack of 5 or more timbies hunting a moose would be all right, it could end up with either the wolves running away because one two die, or the moose dying. Getting a meal from a dead moose that way would still be good, you have to fight the wolves anyways or they will take your food 1
Prometeu Posted August 4 Posted August 4 I would like to become friends with a wolf after giving him food few times and then join me in hunting.
