I know these suggestions are late, since I'm sure part 6 is already being worked on, but here are some ideas I think would be cool to see:

Randomly Roaming Animals

Wolves, bears, and other wildlife have a very low chance to spawn and roam in random locations. These bears would have no den and would have random pathing.

Timberwolves Moving In

Over time, similar to the style of the Cougar, timberwolves will slowly begin to occupy more regions. This would start at, for example, day 50, until they are more abundant at day 100, with different difficulty scaling. Some regions should be protected from them, though. I wouldn't want to see every region infested with timberwolves.

Hoping to see a lot more randomness with this update. This is the one I was most excited for, so looking forward to it!

Id love to see timberwolves slowly moving into regions, it would make a good change, great idea. I think it could be nice if they started to take over regions that are closest to their original spots.

I'm not sure if Wolves/Bears having truly random spawning/pathing would be a good idea. There's a lot of locations in TLD that are very isolated, like the fenced off front of Carter Hydro Dam or various platforms on ropeways. If a bear spawned in locations like that, it could block off routes.

It'd probably be more like bears/wolves spawning in preset wide areas, with random patrol patterns. I'm not sure if I like a permanent bear with no permanent den, but maybe if they despawned after a week or so to counterbalance them being able to end up anywhere, I think it'd be fine.

Timberwolf migration would be cool. Of course, there'd need to be good thought into which regions get Timberwolves migrating there, and where exactly they patrol in said region. It'd be gratifying to get Timberwolves in Timberwolf mountain, but I don't want people who use the Mountaineer's Hut as their cozy basecamp to get chased out by Timberwolf attrition, so they'd have to be in other parts of the region.
