Cougar knife glitch

Quartering an animal with the cougar claw knife causes a glitch, it leaves a copy of the knife that you cant interact with, just floating above the quartered carcas, and causes the animation for furure carcas quartering to be non existant. Its just the survivor looking at the carcass for a few seconds, and then the carcass leaves behind quarters of meat, hide etc. I have a screen shot of this here as well. There also was a instance, where I went through the harvesting animation but at the end i was stuck and couldnt move my camera or character, and I couldnt do anything else, like making a fire or pulling out a weapon. I could only look at my screen and do nothing else

Which platform are you on??  And which version2.29? 

It does make it difficult to sort out I think given they shouldn't be in the game but still worth sending a bug report to support ,(support at the top of the page)

Im on the latest version on steam, ill send something to the support

How have you got the cougar if you're up to date? It was removed  from the game

Only live cougars were removed. Cougar items that you already have remain in your inventory 👍

Good point.. I thought for a minute they were harvesting one lol..
