JerimiahSettle Posted June 29, 2024 Posted June 29, 2024 So yeah, the cougar, as amazing as it is, IS a bit lackluster. I personally hope they just add it as a creature we can hunt like the bear or the moose. But also, what if we (the players) had to build 'cougar bait' consisting of moose meat, deer meat, and fish with maybe some other rare ingredients. We would put down our bait at the location we want, and the cougar would now spawn in and stalk us. Have it travel the entirety of the region the bait is in and give it a 30 day timer before it loses interest and leaves. Just a thought, May it inspire others. And thank you Hinterland for all this. This amazing game and creators of it deserve praise and constructive criticism, not the bull spit, angry, rants and complaints. 1
Veskaida Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 Not sure what you mean. If you don't like something, that is fine: that's your opinion after all, but I don't see how something can be "amazing" and "lackluster" at once. I do agree though, and it seems that many other players share this sentiment for requesting more ability to engage with the Cougar, rather than only really being able to post-Struggle. Hopefully this is something will be will addressed with the Cougar rework.
ManicManiac Posted July 4, 2024 Posted July 4, 2024 It's alright, people's opinions can be nuanced... As long as the discourse stays civil and respectful, all sides of the discussion are welcome. 1
ManicManiac Posted July 9, 2024 Posted July 9, 2024 (edited) @JerimiahSettle I was defending your opinion... I have no idea what you are upset about. Nuanced :adjective: "Something that's nuanced has subtle details that make it complex and interesting. A nuanced conversation isn't just small talk — it really makes you think. Nuanced is one of those words that attempts to capture an elusive quality." Edited July 9, 2024 by ManicManiac 1
Leeanda Posted July 9, 2024 Posted July 9, 2024 @JerimiahSettle.. despite removing your last comment.. I left this thread as I see no problem with it... However I must point out that it is not ok to be aggressive ,no matter what.. both comments were perfectly reasonable .. Kind of gob smacked on this .... Your forum??? 1
