SuperRetro Posted June 27, 2024 Posted June 27, 2024 (edited) I have experienced a large amount of crashes on PS5 in the time of the tales expansion, despite intermittent resetting. These have always been while loading into an area, and were extremely frequent in the new Sundered Pass region. I have been sending the bug reports through the console. However, the crashes always only put me back to my most recent autosave, so it was never a large inconvenience. However, after I died (to my own stupidity) in Sundered pass and attempted to use the new Cheat Death mechanic. When the game tried to spawn me in (I chose the risky nearby spawn, so it was likely in the Far Territory), it crashed, and when I restarted the game, I was met with the unfortunate news that my save file was gone. It was one of my longest runs, and I was quite invested in seeing the end of the tales. I would have been more content with dying, had I been able to at least save my journal progress. But I saw it also as an opportunity to see what "cheating death" really meant, and I lost it all. I assume there is no way to recover my data, but if there is, please let me know. I would very much like to not have to redo everything in order to finish the Tale. (The error code is always CE-108255-1 if that helps, and I have submitted a report on Hinterland's website as well.)
