Scurvy and Cougars on by default in ongoing games

As title states people are reporting that Scurvy and Cougars are now on in their ongoing games on Reddit.  The advertised popups didn't show.  This seems to be an issue for both custom and regular difficulties.

You have to use the "Load Game" option when going back into an existing save- the options did show up for me when I tested it on 3 separate existing saves- vanilla Pilgrim, vanilla Voyageur, and vanilla Stalker. Though there are some folks on Steam who are saying using the "Load Game" option on Custom Settings games does not bring up the options toggles, so that may be an issue/bug with Custom Settings games. I didn't have a Custom Settings save to test it on.

I've got this problem with my existing stalker save. Originally used 'resume' which didnt give me the options for scurvy or cougar. Tried using 'load game' on the same save but still no option. I'm excited for the cougar, but a bit annoyed about having scurvy now on my save even though I've exhausted supplies of vitC. I've already reported this to HL.

Did you save before backing out to choose load game? I suspect you may have made the changes permanent if you saved.

Yes it auto saved before I realised so looks like it's too late... Fingers crossed for a hot fix!
