phobiac Posted May 22, 2024 Posted May 22, 2024 First thing is inventory and loot management. The thing I would love is that player at the start dosent have "inventory". What do i mean by that? Well our player never wears any backpacks known to us. It is just somehow that they keep all the loot in their pockets haha. I would love that player is only able to pick up small things at the beginning. (even that would be limited for few slots mainly thing u can carry in hands or pockets). Then the many of backpacks around the world would be finally useful. Some would offer more or less space for carrying items. Of course the the technical backpack at ash cayon would be best possible thing to get would provide the most space and 45kg for u to carry. Of course the players on difficulties below interloper should spawn with better/worse backpacks from start depending on the difficulty. Stalker would have least space but it would be easy to fine other better one. On interlopers there could be few backpack that wont provide much storage, or u would have to repair them or fix it. On all that it would be nice to add risk of backpack breaking if you carry more then whats the limit. Other thing i would love to see is addition of few plastic bottles so player can magically store 5 liters or make 20 teas in tea cup from no where. I would add bottles for water and for teas i would just use the flasks we got. U make the tea (in can) u put it in flask and drink from in to more endless tea cups. I think that would make great addition and make game more difficult. Again on lower difficulties player would ether spawn with at least one flask. I change moose-hide satchel so its whole purpose would be for storing up to 5 liters of water. Or even storage i think it would be fair to choose. I also thing u should be able to carry water in flasks but think teas would be more important. On the next one is to disable the ability to pull torches out of fire (it makes no sense), I would love to be able to bury or remove corpses, also when it comes to cooking i think u should be required to get cooking utensils (there is a lot of those already in game just as pure decorations) or u could u a stick make improvised one. Maybe using old cups and bowls would give u slight benefit or maybe u lose percentage of food if u dont use them like a can opener. I wont mention ability to move things fix stuff cuz i hope that will be added in part 6 of tales. At last I would love to see different variants in wolves and for us to actually get different colored clothes or even ability to maybe make hat from wolf or deer skin. Not specifically deer pants bear coat etc... Also I am not sure why cant u cut bushes with saw but only with the hatchet?? Maybe this sounds like much but i love this game and because I know it wont be the main focus of hinterland I would love to see game being u know "polished". I wouldnt want more content after tales and wintermute are finished. I would love to see have being polished maybe some textures improved. Wonky stuff thats happening and glitches fixed. Just small thing that would make game shine. I could go on and on about it haha but i really love this game.

Again maybe it use to be know that our player has backpack but now welp its not so noticeable. We dont see it or anything we only have carry limit. I would love more interaction to say between player and inventory. Good example for that is game called vintage story. At star u dont have inventory just 10 main (1-10) slots then u have to make baskets or bags backpacks to be able to carry stuff and have inventory. Would love that interactivity a risk of backpack breaking if ure carrying more then it can handle, u having to repair it or risk of it getting wet and damaging ur food or tools etc. It would add in my opinion more complexity and depth to game. I would wish for backpack to actually be a accessory slot or dont know how else to call it maybe being able to craft better one if u kill cougar? That has like 50kg carry limit?
