Items appearing and disappearing

Playing on Xbox series x just curious to know has  anyone else noticed an increase in Items or scenery like branches bushes etc spawning in at closer range recently ? I’ve noticed places I’ve been many times before where you come across a fire pit and canned food etc and recently it seems that the canned food or items appear as u approach the location. If you take a step back they disappear , I’ve noticed it with branches and bushes too .. never used to have this happen.
