stratvox Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Looking up the creek from Crystal Lake's opposite shore: And hunkering down in the Forest Cave as an Aurora rolls in: In the morning I will be going after a moose just a little down the hill from here. 8
ThePancakeLady Posted November 11 Posted November 11 Truly a rare find on a new run. Usually if I find the Distress Pistol here, it has one, maybe two shells with it. Three if I get lucky. Finding a full case just made my night- it's a really rare find for me, anywhere a Distress Pistol might be found. And some low condition sardines next to it, lol. Yes, I ate them. RNG loved me again and didn't hit me with food poisoning. This run is off to a good start. I'm sure I will pay dearly for it later, lol. 6

Smellyfries Posted November 11 Posted November 11 Returned from gathering firewood, and after hearing the faint song of an aurora, couldn't help but sit outside and watch the stars. Sometimes it's worth stopping for 15 minutes and appreciate how beautiful this game is. 6

I'll definitely be making one when the camera comes out. 90% of the photos I take are definitely going to be the aurora. Edited November 11 by Smellyfries I can't type 1

I'm wondering where we'd find somewhere big enough to hang them all lol.. the lodge has a fair bit of wall space, even the dam if it'll let us 1 1

Maybe we'll get the option to make hanging picture frames for walls, and self standing ones for tables and counters. I could see places like Quonset being used, since they have a ton of empty shelves without too much clutter. I'll definitely have a few dedicated containers to hold unframed photos. 1

I never thought of small standing ones.. there's definitely a lot more options if we get those too.. Quonset could be good, needs a bit of colour in there 2 1
ThePancakeLady Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Just another typical day in the life of a Stalker... use the blizzards to travel to avoid the toothy things. Mother Nature is saying "Don't make me tap the sign again...". 7

ThePancakeLady Posted November 25 Posted November 25 Just another beautiful day in Pleasant Valley. Thankfully, the blizzard started after I got back to the farmhouse to sort loot and drop off what I didn't need, and do some repairing while waiting out the blizzard. Signal Hill didn't have a ton of loot, and silly me, I left the wires I had back at the Farmhouse, but there was a car battery and I had fuses with me. No bear around Signal Hill so far, so a trip back to harvest the deer carcass near the cave, and finish fixing the transmitter. After the blizzard lets up. 3
clarkey Posted November 29 Posted November 29 View of the Cannery, Fallen Lighthouse in the distance and the small island off the coast, Bleak Inlet. May be bleak but still a great view. 3
Boneviolin Posted November 30 Posted November 30 Some scenic shots I've captured. Some of these really remind me of the shots from the Wintermute opening cinematic. 4
Boneviolin Posted November 30 Posted November 30 Like at the very start. Really has the same vibe to it 3
Boneviolin Posted November 30 Posted November 30 I've got some more, with a bit of a darker vibe to them. 4 1
