Come back from TM to PV...

Lovely sunny day (pleasant) i was passing by a cave....some bones inside so I wasn't bothered to check inside. Carcass just few meters away....it was to tempting..so I have harvest the meat... during this I've heard the bear....I've finished harvesting (it wasn't much 8-10 min max) the bear footprints right next to me. He/she past me harvesting this carcass.... Run as fast as I can

I don’t think it was just blind luck.

I think how it works is that, when you are engaged in a time-speeding activity (such as harvesting or crafting), then animals ignore you, but I’m not sure…

I think that's true - still blind luck that the bear wasn't right on top of him just after he finished.  I once mistakenly chose to sleep out a blizzard in a cave near to where I had just shot a bear... didn't know it was his cave... fortunately, I woke up next to a dead bear rather than a sleeping one.

Today I've shot the bear from inside the poacher hideout in FM.
Very convenient source of food 😃

Last time I slept in there I woke up to find his head in the doorway!  Even on pilgrim it scared me to death.😁.  But yes he's very handy. I usually climb up the tree round the back to take a shot.
