conanjaguar
I think these are Rose Hips, anyway… they sure look like them. Confirmation, anyone?
xanna
I'm not sure but I don't think so? This might sound like a daft question, but were they on a rosebush? Thorny stems?

xanna
Yes, rose buds are compacted petals and stuff, not shiny like a berry. Right, I think very likely rose hips, then! I don't make rose hip tea IRL, but I do make rosehip jelly. It goes great with roast dinner, or a cheese plate

I’m not the greatest fan of jelly with cheese or meat, but it sounds… erm… interesting. (Which recalls to me that ancient Chinese curse )
JoeBar
"Real rose hips" like in game are specifically rose hips from Rosa Canina : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosa_canina There are plenty of these here in Belgium 🙂
JoeBar
You can make infusion with it, like in-game, but you can also eat them right away after the first day of freezing. They are also delicious when prepared in jam, indeed
