From what I hear, quantum mechanics are insanely difficult, so good luck!
I personally know nothing of the subject, but I’m a fast learner.

Watch the domain of science video on it that explains quite a lot. but yes humankind have much more to learn and I want to help with that. I've been inspired by ant-man and the wasp and the quantum mechanics in that. God that movie is hella good

It's a great subject

I enjoy watching lectures from Richard Feynman :) and also some by french physicists like Alain Aspect (who proved experimentally Quantum Entanglement  and Bell's inequality ) or Etienne Klein (who is as captivating as Feynman)

I also watched MIT's 3 sessions lecture "Introduction to Superposition" available on youtube (highly recommended)

Since I studied electronics, I was familiar with complex numbers and wave functions so it allows me to understand a few things and not drown that fast in the 3rd lecture 😂

Good luck
