FANTASTIC PICS PIDDY!!!!! I didn't even think of putting a lantern inside a car. Fabulous. @conanjaguar Place Anywhere is brilliant. As is Item Piles (I think it's called that, the one that lets you make "bundles" of things). You were going to get pictures of these in my Encumbered Diary but, erm, well read it and you will see. Oh and read my new post in the modding section. Be afraid, be very afraid.... But yes, I cannot recommend these two enough. What a difference it makes to organising your stuff and making a customised space. Instead of having lots of bits all over the place I had nice neat wood piles and stacks of sticks. I also had a bear pelt on my wall. I won't play any game without these two at least going forward, they make the game so much easier. There are few irritations with the Place Anywhere, it can be a bit awkward at times, but with a bit of faffing about you can get things how you want them. Bloody marvellous in my opinion.

You just gotta imagine that you two are on a road trip. Wait, can you place a lantern inside a car? The atmosphere would be wonderful. Road trip? He’d never finish his snacks…. Leaves more for me!! People are constantly asking for a co-op mode, but the world of The Long Dark is already full of teammates. If only we could carry them around... And NOW, when survival and wintermute are separated, there's finally no disinfo in my suggestion. Seriously though, people seem to REALLY like this small tweak. Perhaps, it could be included into the free survival update pass (somewhere near the end of it, probably). It's not something particularly big, like a new animal, or plant, but a nice QoL improvement for better immersion.
