Any mission, actually. As long as you are good enough at walking on 89.9° slopes, you can visit Milton for the duration of episode 2. All the loot respawns, so you can take Lily's mountaineering rope again. Unfortunately, it's gonna break for the second time too.

And no, I couldn't talk to Grey Mother.

How do you get to Milton through mystery lake?

And you can get there in episode 2 as well at least on signal to noise
