Welcome to the new Modding & UGC section of the Forum. Here are a few notes to help you get started.

 

• If you’re new here, please refer to our Forum Guidelines.
• Work that infringes copyright, contains hate speech, sexual, or offensive content will be removed. 
• Please note mods should be considered "work in progress" and Hinterland does not provide any support for issues that may occur as a result of using mods. Use mods at your own risk.
• Please keep in mind that The Long Dark is still in active development with an extensive internal roadmap. Any similarities between work produced by Hinterland, and work being done by the modding community, is coincidental.
• As with all fan creations around The Long Dark, Hinterland does not permit the sale or monetization of any modded content. Detailed terms of service will be forthcoming.
• Please be respectful of each other when giving feedback and criticism of someone’s work. 
• Modding support is in-development and will change over time. We appreciate your patience.
