I noticed that tea's get burned now when they are left beside the fire. Is this a thing now? Or is it a bug?

In real life, many times I have left a cup of tea by a domestic fire or oven and forgotten about it.  Hours later it is a cold cup of tea, not burnt to a cinder,  (I can't remember what the expression is in TLD). So if the burning of a cup of tea in TLD is not a technical bug it sure is a conceptual bug.

We're still investigating. Thanks for your patience.

Dear Hinterland,

it is not just carcasses disappearing. Limbs disappear as well. As an example in Desolation Point I was harvesting a bear in his cave and right in front of that cave was a limb. I get inside to do a little task like making 2 bandages, the limb is gone all of a sudden. I cook for an hour and speed up the process of cooking with the space button. Heurekaaa, the limb is there again. Same things happen with sticks. Observed in TWM region, right next to Mount.hut. They arent there, then they appear all of a sudden, just not as a consequence of blizzard or some other logical event. They appear just like that.. I am also not able to repair crampons, though I have sewing kit and two metal scraps.

Anyway, great survival update, very much appreciated.

Merry Christmas in advance.

Currently a bug, you need simple or quality tools to fix crampons, not a sewing kit

I can confirm the disappearing limbs and sticks bug. Still present in v1.99. Quite annoying but fortunately they reappear.

rain or snow did you mean?

I was crafting a pair of deerskin pants that I didn't even need in the barn by that farm. Blizzard swept in, but I had a fire going in the barrel. The barrel fire didn't last as long as the crafting session and I thought I'd be fine with my current gear. My overconfidence let me ignore the red in my temperature indicator. Just adding my 950 day survivor to the official kill count and warning other players against that fate. Good times.
