Idea
Risk - The game that will make you lose your friends...Actually lost a friend playing an intense game of Risk a long time ago, I took his territory, he said I dropped the dice and did not roll, we argued and never spoke again. I blame the game of Risk Now I just play Civ if I want to get my world domination fix.
Simulacra
Fans of Settlers might enjoy Dominion. Once everyone gets a feel for how it works, play goes into warp speed (and it's super fun). There's nothing like counting up all of your estates at the end of the game and realizing that you won.

harobed1156
Monopoly, which I still play on a tablet. When I was a small child my aunt played Candy Land with me endlessly. The poor thing finally taught me card games instead.
