how do i get good plz help

hi ive been playing the long dark for a few months now and i suck the best ive gotten is 5 days on custom please help (it was in ash caynon and got the gold mine)

It really depends on what you're struggling with! And what difficulty your custom is on! The main things to concentrate on are food,water and keeping warm!  Are the animals passive?  I'd recommend starting in mystery lake ,ash canyon can be terrifying for beginners!🙂

so i killed a bear but it didnt show the carcasee in CH found my arrows too. second bear i died blead out on the way to queanset 16 days was how long i lived

Yes the Quonset hut does have the problem with bears!   Normally when they are dying they start making the way back to the den! So if you know where the den is the bear isn't normally far away! 

Have you tried living on either of the islands! Great views ,plenty of wood and rabbits!  Plus the fishing hut is nearby!  

Im afraid though it just takes patience and practice!   But it sounds like you're doing well,so don't give up and enjoy the experience! Even the mailings!🙂
