Mig_zvm 32
Why? Why does the placement of a snow shelter have to be such a pain in the *blizzard farts?
LoneWolf5841 59
What exactly is wrong with it? I have no trouble placing it.

Oh man, I was trying to survive while lost out in Ash Canyon and I set up a fire in a place protected by the wind, but the snow shelter was not allowed to be placed anywhere near it for no discernable reason. It was all snow and flat ground, but it showed up RED for everywhere except for this tiny spot which was not close enough to get the benefits from the fire radius.
stratvox 692
I have experienced this. It sucks. There are some places where it would be extremely awesome to be able to build snow shelters in them.

Interesting guess I've been lucky then. (Sorry for the late response)

I’ve had that same problem so many times in numerous regions. It’s definitely a kick in the nuts, it’s caused me to fall into the long dark. I’ve wondered if proximity to the rock/mountain I’m backed up to has anything to do with it.
