Hotklou2404 Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 (edited) 1. Add "Very Low" difficulty tuning. Sometimes I would like to turn something down just a little bit more. 2. Some settings miss a "Very High" difficulty tuning. For example: "World Gets Colder Over Time", "Wind Variability", "Aurora Frequency", "Empty Container Chance Modifier", "Harvestable Plant Availability", "Reduce Container Item Density", "Reduce Wildlife Population Over Time", "Scent Increase From Meat/Blood", "Wolf Fear", "Timberwolf Morale", "Struggle Bonus", "Struggle Condition Damage Modifier", "Struggle Clothing Damage Modifier". While some of these settings probably don't need a "Very High" difficulty tuning, I think it would be worth it to give some settings that difficulty tuning. Edited March 17, 2021 by Hotklou2404
odizzido Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 I would love to see higher/lower amounts for custom games. I've often said slider bars would work well. For example with rabbit population you could have a bar from 0-100 or 300 or whatever. 50% would be the normal medium setting, low could be 30%, and 1% would mean there are 50 times fewer rabbits than on medium. That would make them a very rare sight indeed, which sounds good. 300% would be three times more animals than on the highest current possible setting. I think there is an argument for entering in numbers too. Like a minimum temperature. You could set it to -100 or whatever if you wanted. 2
Dancewithknives Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 I think there should be more fine tuning options as well, like possibly add in a “spawn with X” option for people who want to do specific runs? Of course achievements would be disabled, but i think that spawning with a rifle, or spawning with a sprain, or spawning with map fully revealed could be fun for some people. 2
