Some clarification

@Stinky socksyou said "don't drop things when navigating in in the blizzard" as the solution to me saying "Make the direction thing face when dropped random so that navigating in a blizzard is actually challenging. " I am referring to when you drop a stick and it always faces north. Are you saying that should not use this trick and then the problem is solved? If so, that isn't exactly very constructive now is it. Or did you think I was complaining about accidently dropping thing in blizzards? If it was the first meaning then you should also know it isn't me at that I am worried about. I am good enough at the game I never get lost, but I worry about a new player finding this trick and then never experience getting truly lost in a blizzard.

Well we don't have a compass! Do you want new players to die without finding way home?

A compass would be nice! I would risk going out more when the weather starts to gets a little blustery.

Agreed, we find flashlights, guns, Polaroid pix, but not a single compass. 

Or perhaps it would be useless due to magnetic field shift(instability)? I mean there's no summer or spring, everything is gone to gell!!

Edit: even worse, we got magnetic wooden sticks!😂
