Why Possible to set fire under character ?

Seems I spawn in the dark in a cold wind without any real way to find shelter and so shelter in place is obvious best method for making it through the night. In my first 4 min in game I end up placing the fire directly under me in the dark. Since you can;t move while making the fire you instantly Anakin Skywalker vs Obi wan.

Maybe we can correct this to make a minimum radius for placing fires?
