I’m not completely sure but I think that the moon isn’t always in the southern sky.  I could be wrong.  However, the points created by a crescent moon, when connected, and the line continued to the horizon, should point south.  This would add realism to night navigation.  Also, could a realistic moon rise moon set cycle be added?
