Ice Picks

I'm currently playing the game on my PS4, and for whatever reason I got the thought of ice Picks. Which then made me think of the ice caves that can be found throughout the cave system. I'm honestly not entirely sure where I'm going with this idea, but what if in higher up mountain regions, climbing picks were available? Or maybe create an entirely new region dedicated to the use of ice picks?maybe an icy mountain region. Another idea that I'm not sure would work, is the mechanic to climb trees. It's not a normal human thing, but what if the player could climb a decent sized tree to escape from predators?? And then bears could have a chance of climbing up after you. This is a very loose idea

That sounds pretty good. People would have to have almost no gear though.
