Suggestion: Auto-pause after a few minutes inactivity

As for the op's suggestion, I actually thought of the same thing once after NEARLY making the same mistake (I luckily caught it out the corner of my eye). I initially thought something like what you're suggesting would be good as well, but I think now that since people kind of deliberately waste time doing nothing in game waiting for a wolf to leave or for a storm to pass, a system such as this might be a hindrance to that.

I feel like survival games should always have the element where you can't just go afk for an hour or so in a 'safe' place and still be alive when you come back. It's not like it's difficult to hit the escape key real quick at any rate, and if you forget, well, hard lesson learned. Probably not a mistake you'll make twice.
