Achievements not unlocking. xbox

In the WE event, I've spent the first 27 days only eating plants and animals, but the achievement didnt unlock. I havent killed anything, and that achievement didnt unlock. I'm just wondering if it HAS to be survival mode. The achievement says "single game".

Achievements will not unlock in Winters Embrace apparently. This mode does not count toward anything that reads 'single game"
