I think it makes sense to be able to repair your wolf coat with a wolf pelt, rabbit mittens with a rabbit pelt etc..not leather which wasn't used for the crafting.

My issue is that after you have a set of mittens, coat & boots; the animal pelts are all useless.. unless you want to make another whole set. In the spirit of 'waste no, want not', I wish you could repair using pelts or somehow craft pelts into leather.
