Where's my moose hide

I had a cured moose hide, I dropped it to ground to leave the house to hunt some rabbits. When I came back, moose hide is gone. I sacrificed too much to hunt that moose, now it's gone. How can this be?!

Thanks! I found it in there.

Before that, I searched for Lost & Found Boxes in every inch of the Hunting Lodge and Maintenance Shed but couldn't find. Because I was focused to find red box too much I must have missed it.

Yeah I am not sure what's up with that house, I've never fallen through the floor anywhere else.
