Somehow this place is never as warm as you wish it was... At least it keeps off the wind in a blizzard.

 

I'll probably be uploading more sketches as I make them. I've got lots of time right now!

That looks really good! It's amazing that you can create such an atmospheric image with a few pencils.

I'm thinking of doing a sketch myself, so I wouldn't mind hearing what you used, so that I will have a better quality sketch.

Of course, I don't mind if you don't want to reveal your secrets, haha.

Please do, I would love to see it! I think I used an HB pencil for most of it and a softer one (B or 2B maybe?) to make the edges darker and deepen some of the shadows. I'm happy to share my secrets; I hope that helped!

I had taken a break from the land of TLD, and forgot to comment on your new drawing. It looks really good but I have to admit that I liked the previous one a little more. The tones of grey and white add to the silent, beautiful atmosphere. 

Also, I kind of forgot about the drawing, but I'm now working on it and I'll be hopefully putting it on the forum in a week or so

Thanks! ^^ Yea, the second one was more of a quick lineart. I find the best combination is actually lineart and shading, but tbh that takes for ever
