If you use a mod you can give yourself almost anything you want to make Interloper easier than Pilgrim.

I suspect that many players who like to describe themselves as playing at Interloper level have used a mod to make their game tame.

How about this for day 1 on Interloper.

I have heard of some people finding a revolver in the machine shop in Bleak Inlet on Loper.  I found it on stalker and it had a couple rounds, but didn’t find it on Loper.

There is so much loot I’ve never seen in this game. That’s a neat sweater. 

On low loot settings I’ve found a revolver. I am not sure if that’s the same as interloper.

There was once talk of folks supposedly finding a ruined revolver in Hushed River Valley on interloper... but it's probable that's just rumored nonsense.

If anyone our there can confirm, let us know.

You -could- find a revolver there, but that was confirmed as a bug. Edit: Meaning the revolver in HRV. Edit2: You actually still can find 2 revolver shells on a body there, but that's most likely a bug as well.

I've looted HRV,  the new Aurora Elevator Mine in CH, and the cannery workshop on Loper in 1.74, and didn't find one. It would seem revolvers were removed a few updates ago and put as a Custom option instead. But you can't prove a negative; the real proof is a clip of someone finding it (recently). Until then...

You need to set the option "Revolver Availability" to no in order to prevent it from spawning. Low "Baseline Resource Availability" only affects the "high quality" loot like knives, hatchets (which both can also be handcrafted), food and clothing and some other things.
