Wierd aurora incident

Just stopped by Old Spence Farmstead in Muskeg, had a nap and woke up to catch the tail end of an aurora.  I could hear the standard electrical humming you usually get in buildings during an event, but wasn't sure what equipment could be causing it.  When I scouted about, the only thing I could see was smoke blowing back inside from the chimney of the unlit furnace... bug, or has anyone got any more exotic theories? Apologies, I couldn't get a great screenshot:

Yup, that "mystery smoke" is common.
