Pilgrim Rifle Spawn

Is there still one guaranteed rifle spawn per map in pilgrim mode?  Used to be one guaranteed in CH but having checked all previous spawn locations it’s not there.  Has something changed or (more than possible!) have I missed it somewhere?!

If it hasn't spawned for you in CH, i'd try PV. Easily accessible. Just head through one of the mines, and i'd hit the Farmstead (i've found rifles and cleaning kits there many times), and Signal hill for a revolver, Expedition parka and another possible rifle spawn there. Check under the bed, that's where the spawn is I think, although i've gotten snow pants and peanut butter there before. Loot Thompson's Crossing on the way back, no use carrying all that loot with you. If you wanted to you could also go to the plane crash for lots of clothing and a lot of airline food.

As far as guaranteed spawns go,  the only one I'd be super sure of would be atop TWM.  I'd consider myself unlucky if none of the gunracks in forest lookout/trappers in ML, or Grey Mother's house in MT didn't have one.  And there's usually a reasonable chance of finding one in whale processing in DP. good luck!
