Able to side step by step from a clif wall down!

My English isn't the best so I will try to explain which I think is a serious bug and very unrealistic! In the game I noticed I can walk down on cliffs by doing little side steps all the way down.

Yep, that's been like that for years at least. I think the idea is it's possible for you to go down cliffs at great risk of sprains, damaged clothing, and damaged condition, if you find yourself making a big drop, but it is possible to inch your way down cliff faces.

Not only that, but in certain places you can make climb up seemingly sheer cliffs by carefully following nooks and crannies in the rocks.

I think this is by design, just not talked about a whole lot and certainly not in the UI... search in the forums for "goating" and/or "mountain goat". Read esp. the posts by @Ice Hole.
