Maybe, like toolboxes, they can only be found in the wild. Their condition degrades when used outside in bad weather. They'd be rare like firestrikers, though, cost a lot of time to repair, and requires quality tools. Thoughts??

I could absolutely get behind a compass.....its a super simple device, but a god send in a blizzard or heavy fog

I think the problem with this is that the basis of the game is that there was some sort of magnetic event that threw everything off in the first place this by theory would cause issues with giving us compases. but maybe a hud option that can be turned on in sandbox would be nice.
